Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near fryer.

  1. Position unit: Ensure adequate clearance under fryer for hose connection.
  2. Connect drain hose: Attach one end to fryer drain valve, other end to filter unit inlet.

First-Time Setup

Connecting to Fryer

  3. Place filter pan under fryer drain area if direct drain is used.
  4. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.

Tip: Always cool oil before filtering to prevent burns and equipment damage.

Operation Procedure

Standard oil filtration cycle.

  1. Prepare: Cool oil, install fresh filter media in pan, seat pan properly.
  2. Connect: Attach drain hose to fryer drain valve.
  3. Power: Turn POWER switch ON (indicator light on).
  4. Filter: Press FILTER button to start cycle (status light will illuminate).
  5. Monitor: Cycle runs automatically; oil pumps through filter and returns to fryer.
  6. Complete: Unit shuts off automatically; status light turns off.
  7. Disconnect: Close fryer drain valve, disconnect hose, dispose of used filter media.

WARNING! Hot oil can cause severe burns. Wear protective gloves and clothing.

Safety Features

Safety Interlock: Prevents pump operation if filter pan is not correctly installed. Overheat Protection: Thermal cutoff protects pump. Grounded Plug: Three-prong plug for electrical safety.

Maintenance & Cleaning
