Most Common Error Codes (3000 / CM7 / MACC / Touch Controls)

• E03 / TEMP PROBE FAILURE: Temperature probe out of range – check probe connections & resistance (should be ~1080Ω at 70°F); replace probe if faulty.
• E05 / HIGH LIMIT 1 / HI LIMIT TRIPPED: High-limit thermostat open – allow fryer to cool completely; reset high-limit button (red button on gas models); check for probe or gas issues.
• E16 / HIGH LIMIT 1 EXCEEDED: Temperature exceeded high-limit – verify probe accuracy; check gas valve regulation or element contactor.
• E17 / HIGH LIMIT 2 EXCEEDED: Secondary high-limit tripped – service required; inspect wiring and high-limit device.
• E13 / TEMPERATURE PROBE FAILURE (alternate): Probe circuit open/short – inspect wiring harness; compare displayed temp to actual oil temp.
• IGNITION FAILURE / NO IGNITION: No flame sense after trials – clean ignitor/sensor; verify gas pressure (3.5–10" WC natural, 11" WC propane); check blower & air pressure switch.

FilterQuick / OCF / Protector / MIB Models (Recent)

• E22 / OIL IN PAN: Oil detected in filter pan during operation – ensure drain valve closed; check MIB (Manual Interface Board) or ATO sensor.
• E23 / CLOGGED DRAIN / VAT NOT DRAINING: Vat not emptying – clean drain valve & lines; check pump motor & filter pad condition.
• FILTER ERROR / PUMP FAILURE: Filter pump not running – inspect pump motor, solenoid valve, filter relay; clean lines & replace pad if clogged.
• ATO / TOP-OFF ERROR: Auto top-off not working – check oil level sensor & reservoir; verify ATO pump & lines clear.

Gas Fryer Specific

• No gas / no ignition: Confirm gas supply & shut-off valve open; clean burner orifices; verify blower motor operation & air pressure switch continuity.
• Flame weak / yellow tips: Adjust air shutter for proper blue flame; clean vent tube on gas valve; check manifold pressure.

Electric Fryer Specific

• No heat: Check breakers & high-limit reset; test elements for continuity (~20–40Ω); inspect contactors & relays.
• Overheating: Faulty temperature probe or stuck contactor – replace probe; check control board.

Safety note: Always shut off gas/power and allow fryer to cool before servicing. Never bypass high-limit thermostats or safety devices. Use proper PPE and follow NFPA-96 & local codes for commercial kitchen equipment.
